About SVIA

Established in 1990, The Stable Value Investment Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating retirement plan sponsors and the public about the importance of saving for retirement and the contribution stable value can make toward a financially secure retirement.

Today, the Stable Value Investment Association is one of the leading authorities on retirement investing. Its membership represents all segments of the stable value investment community including public and private plan sponsors, insurance companies, banks, and investment managers and consultants. The association serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas and discussion of issues important to the stable value industry, and provides leadership and representation before the media, educators, regulators, and opinion leaders.

SVIA holds two conferences each year, the National Fall Forum and our Spring Seminar. The National Fall Forum is located in Washington DC and also serves as the Association’s annual membership meeting. It provides a global focus on stable value funds, looking at big picture issues related to retirement savings, investment policy, and defined contribution plans that may impact stable value.

The Spring Seminar is located in various parts of the country to accommodate our national audience, and has a much more focused approach and specializes in issues unique to stable value investment and management.

SVIA also produces the biannual Stable Times publication that covers both industry concerns and association activities, and also regularly conducts surveys that provide observations specific to the stable value industry.
